Unprovoked Assault with a Weapon Leaves Victim with Significant Injury

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to an unprovoked assault with a weapon in Mississauga which has left the victim a significant injury.

On Sunday August 16th 2020 between 10:30-11:00pm, the victim was walking in the area of Monica Drive and Lockington Crescent in the City of Mississauga. At this time, unknown persons from a passing motor vehicle fired multiple paintball rounds at the victim. As a result of the assault the victim sustained a serious, life-altering injury.

Investigators are seeking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or anyone who may have dashcam video from the area during the time of the incident. Investigators would also like to speak with anyone who may have experienced a similar incident in this area recently.
