Additional Arrests Made Following Brampton Shooting Homicide

Region of Peel – Detectives from the Homicide Bureau have made additional arrests in connection to a shooting homicide that occurred in Brampton.

On Friday, August 30, 2024, officers responded to a residential address on Milestone Drive in Brampton where they located an adult male deceased in a vehicle who had been shot. At the family's request, we are not releasing the victim's identity.

Manvir Khabra, a 21-year-old male from Brampton, was arrested and charged with Manslaughter.

An 18-year-old male from Brampton, was arrested and charged with Manslaughter.

Both males were held for bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

The 18-year-old was a youth at the time of the incident.

A general provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (Y.C.J.A.) prohibits the release of a Young Person's name; therefore, the identity of the Young Person charged in this investigation is protected.
