Public Assistance Sought in Locating Sexual Assault Suspect

Region of Peel – Investigators from our Special Victims Unit are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect, who is believed to be responsible for two sexual assaults in the area of McLaughlin Road and Steeles Avenue in the City of Brampton.

On Monday, September 2, 2024, at approximately 5:30 a.m., the victim, a 19-year-old woman was walking in the area of Steeles Avenue West and McLaughlin Boulevard in Brampton, when the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing the area.

On Sunday, September 22, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the victim, a 19-year-old woman was walking in the area of McLaughlin Road and Ray Lawson Boulevard in Brampton, when the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing the area.

The victims sustained minor physical injuries.

The suspect(s) is described as a male, late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5’8”- 5’10”, thin build and wearing dark clothing.

Police are asking anyone who lives in the area to check for vehicle and property camera footage during the specified dates and times.
