Seeking Assistance in Identifying Stabbing Suspect

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau are asking for assistance in identifying a suspect following a stabbing in Mississauga.

On Saturday May 10, 2025, at approximately 6:20 p.m. a woman exited a transit bus near Eglinton Avenue and Hurontario Street in Mississauga. The victim was followed by the suspect and stabbed in an unprovoked attack before fleeing on foot. The victim, a woman in her twenties suffered near fatal injuries however her condition has since stabilized.

At this time, it is believed that suspect is not known to the victim and that this was random.

Following extensive video canvassing, investigators are releasing images of the suspect. He is described as 5’9”, thin build, dark complexion, short dark hair with receding hairline and a full beard. He was wearing black pants, black north face coat, black shoes, black sunglasses, black backpack, ring on left hand and white wired headphones.

If seen, members of the public are asked to dial 9-1-1 and not approach.

Investigators are asking anyone that was in the vicinity of the incident on May 10, between 6:00pm and 6:30pm who has a dash-cam, or anyone with information to please contact them by calling 905-453-3311 ext. 1233.
