Police Search For a Missing 17-Year-Old Youth

Region of Peel– Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing 17-year-old youth.

Austin Farrel was reported missing on December 31, 2018 at approximately 1:00 a.m. from his residence in the area of Queen Street and Torbram Road in the City of Brampton.

Austin is described as male, white with a light complexion, 6’2", 190 pounds, slim build, short straight brown hair, no facial hair, no tattoos, however has pierced ears. Austin was wearing a blue rain coat, black pants, red running shoes and a backpack unknown colour.

On Tuesday January 8, 2019, Austin Farrel was seen by staff at a hospital in the city of St. Catherines and as such, investigators believe he may be in the St. Catherine’s or Hamilton area.

Police and family are concerned for the well-being of Austin Farrel as he requires medication that he does not have with him.
