Please note that we make bus arrangements; however, schools are responsible for payment of the bus.

For Grades 1, 2 & 3 programs, the cost per bus is as follows:
Brampton/Mississauga: $133.55;  Bolton/Orangeville: $207.02 (prices include taxes)

For our Grade 5 program, the cost per bus is as follows:
Brampton: $133.55;  Mississauga: $156.60; Bolton/Orangeville: $243.74 (prices include taxes)

Grade 1 Community Helpers

Grade 1 Program Fully Booked - Add to the waitlist

This interactive program introduces students to some of the special people who help out in their communities - Police, Firefighters and Paramedics. Students will learn how to identify these people as well as what their jobs entail.  They will also have the opportunity to attend various hand-on stations to learn about some of the tools that Police use to keep people safe. The second portion of the program is spent learning about 9-1-1 and Fingerprinting which includes the use of the 9-1-1 Simulator and the children getting their thumbs printed as a keepsake to take home. This program runs December 2016 - April 2017. MAXIMUM 45 STUDENTS
Grade 2 - Personal Safety Pedestrian Safety

Our Grade 2 students will start their visit in the classroom learning about how to keep themselves safe. They will then acquire the skills to become a safe pedestrian and will have the opportunity to practice these skills afterwards in our miniature village where they will explore some of the buildings and play educational games. Weather permitting, the students will also be adding to the outdoor fun by driving the miniature jeeps! This program runs in October - December 2016, and March - April 2017. MAXIMUM 45 STUDENTS

Grade 3 - Personal Safety Bike Safety

Our Grade 3 Personal Safety Program is a continuation of our Grade 2 program where students will expand on their knowledge and skills to protect themselves and stay safe. They will then learn about Bicycle and Helmet Safety which will be put to use afterwards in our miniature village! (Weather permitting). To participate in the bicycle riding portion of the program, students must bring an approved bicycle helmet with them. Officers will inspect all of the helmets and teach the students how to ensure they fit correctly and safely. Students will also be able to explore the village on foot as they travel around playing safety-geared games. This program runs May - June 2017. MAXIMUM 45 STUDENTS

Grade 5 - Youth Cyber Academy


The Youth Cyber Safety Academy is an innovative, hands-on Internet Safety lesson like no other! Students will spend the morning portion in our "Cool Zone" where they will have a real-life internet experience on iPad mini's playing our one-of-a-kind, custom-designed Capture the Flag online game. This application will allow students to create personal profiles and test out a variety of skills and knowledge while having the opportunity to participate in a live online chat with other students.  After lunch, students will move to the Academy for an interactive Internet Safety presentation which will include an analysis of the information provided during the morning session. Students will focus on the importance of keeping personal information private, positive/negative aspects of the internet as well as learn about the various lures that online predators may use to trick children while online. Students will also learn about Cyber Citizenship and how their online actions can affect others and themselves, now and in the future. This program runs September 2016 - June 2017. MAXIMUM 50 STUDENTS
