Introduction

"Cyberproofed?" is an Internet Safety resource kit developed by Peel Regional Police in conjunction with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and the Peel District School Board. It is designed to raise awareness of the strategies that students and parents may employ in order to minimize the risks associated with Internet use.

While no prior knowledge is required, some awareness of Internet vocabulary and terminology may be helpful. A glossary of Internet terms is included in this resource kit. You are encouraged to photocopy the printed materials in this resource kit.
