Morality/Drug Education

Goals and Objectives

The objective of the Morality/Drug Education unit is to reduce the incidents and minimize the impact of substance abuse in our communities by promoting healthy drug free lifestyles through drug awareness and education.

Role and Function

The Morality/Drug Education unit offers awareness programs for workshops and events to all businesses, Youth and senior community groups, social agencies, schools and police personnel. The Morality/Drug Education is committed to participating with various Boards and committees, in order to share information in relation to drug awareness and substance abuse throughout the Region of Peel. Our strategies designed to promote drug awareness and substance abuse are also developed through networking with other police agencies.

 

The Morality/Drug Education unit also provides helpful information with respect to treatment facilities and agencies to persons at risk or in crisis.
