Records Services - Records Search Unit

Volunteer Record Search (Vulnerable Persons)

*This search is intended for persons volunteering with vulnerable individuals.*
Example:  Sports groups, Youth and Senior Services, Church, Parent School volunteers

 

 

 

 

Volunteer searches should reach you by mail within 4 to six weeks of submitting your volunteer record search.

 

  • NOTE:  Under special circumstances volunteers can opt to pay for their search as the turn around time for Employment Record Search, Vulnerable Persons is 20 working days.
  • The applicant must produce a form and authorization letter provided by an approved Peel Regional Police volunteer agency.  Click here to find out how to register a volunteer organization.
  • The search is free for volunteers with a form from the volunteer agency.
  • The applicant must be a resident of the Region of Peel.
  • The applicant must attend in person
  • The applicant must produce two pieces of valid government issued identification, one with a photo (expired identification will not be accepted).
  • Allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing.  Processing will depend on current volume.
  • Applications will be returned by mail.
