Records Services - Records Search Unit

Criminal Record Search – CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre)
This search may be required for general employment, By-Law Licence, Visa, Immigration, trucking, retail, warehouse, taxi, etc.

Note:  This search is not intended for those seeking employment or volunteer positions with vulnerable individuals.  See Vulnerable or Volunteer Record Search for details.  It is the responsibility of the employer or volunteer agency to inform the applicant as to which type of search is required.

 

  • Forms are available in the lobby of Peel Regional Police Headquarters.
  • This search is completed “While you wait”.
  • The applicant must attend in person.
  • The applicant must produce two pieces of valid government issued identification, one with a photo (expired identification will not be accepted).
  • For same day service the Criminal Record Search must be requested one hour prior to closing - Monday to Friday before 5:00 p.m. & Saturday before 1:00 p.m.

SERVICE FEE $45.00

  • Extra originals provided @ $5.00 each, ONLY available at the time of original Record Search request.
  • Payment – Cash, Debit, Mastercard and Visa
  • Senior Citizen (60 years) - $25.00
