Pardon Applications – Local Police Records Check
A Pardon Application Guide may be obtain at Records Search Unit – located at Peel Regional Police Headquarters or the National Parole Board Website at
www.npb-cnlc.gc.ca/pardons
Applicants must read and follow
the instructions in the Pardon Application Guide.
If the applicant submits the Local Police Records Check form in person the application will be returned by mail.
If the applicant submits the Local Police Records Check form by mail or agency acting on your behalf,
and
the applicant requires the search returned by mail, the Notarized Identification and Notarized Authorization Letter applies,

The applicant
must
produce two pieces of valid government issued identification, one with a photo (expired identification will not be accepted).
The Local Records Check Form will be completed in approximately 4 weeks from date of submission.
