Peel Police - Homicide Investigators Arrest Another Suspect in Teens Murder

Mississauga – Investigators from the Homicide Bureau have made another arrest in connection to the murder of a Mississauga teen.

 

On Saturday, July 3, 2010, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the victim, 17 year-old Adrian DUCAS was at the Malton Community Centre, located on Morning Star Drive. At this time several men entered the community centre, where two basketball games were being played. Following their arrival, Adrian DUCAS was fatally shot.

 

On Wednesday, July 21, 2010, Homicide investigators arrested and charged Courtney DAWKINS, a 20 year-old man from Toronto, with First Degree Murder. Dawkins is being held in custody and his next court appearance will be on July 22, 2010, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

 

To date, Kevaughn TULLOCH, a 20 year-old man from Toronto and Maurice RAPHAEL, a 23 year-old man from Scarborough, have been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder. Cassandra Elizabeth SCAVONE, a 20 year-old woman from Toronto, has been charged with Accessory After the Fact of Murder.

 

Investigators continue to search for, and seek information regarding, Christopher RAPHAEL, for whom a Canada-wide arrest warrant has been obtained for the offence of First Degree Murder.

Investigators advise that anyone who is currently assisting RAPHAEL in hiding from or evading the police, is committing a criminal offence and can be subject to arrest and be charged accordingly. 

 

Anyone with information regarding the location of Christopher RAPHAEL is urged to call their local police service, or Peel Regional Police’s Homicide Bureau at (905) 453-2121, ext. 3205. Anyone with information can also submit anonymous tips to Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), through their website, www.peelcrimestoppers.ca, or by texting “PEEL”, followed by your tip, to CRIMES (274637).
