Peel Police - Investigators Appealing for Witnesses to Collision

Mississauga – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are seeking witnesses to a collision that occurred on Monday, July 19, 2010.
At about 7:30 p.m., a 48 year-old Mississauga woman was operating a black 1999 Toyota UVL northbound on Ninth Line. For reasons that are still under investigation, as she approached the intersection of Lacman Trail, she crossed the centre line and struck a southbound vehicle.
The southbound vehicle, a white 2006 Chevy ISS, was being driven by a 42 year-old Mississauga man. His 16 year-old son was a passenger in the car.
The female driver was air-lifted to a Toronto-area trauma hospital with serious, but non-life threatening, injuries. The second driver and his son were both transported to a local hospital, with serious, but non-life threatening, injuries.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the events leading up to the collision, or the collision itself.
