Peel – Peel Regional Police’s 2009 Annual Performance Report is now available.
Peel Regional Police is committed to a culture of partnership, engagement and dialogue with the community and our employees. We strive for a high standard of policing excellence, which includes developing more efficient, accountable, and innovative approaches to meet the challenges of policing our diverse and growing community. Central to these efforts is showcasing to the community the broad range of organizational activities and accomplishments that we undertake to keep the community safe.
The 2009 Annual Performance Report outlines our performance over the last year and provides an update to the community on initiatives instituted to meet the goals outlined in our 2008-2010 Strategic Plan, “Working it Out Together.” The plan was developed in consultation with the community and our employees and guides the organization’s efforts to address five strategic issues:

2. Communication & Collaboration
3. Quality Service & Fiscal Responsibility
4. Growth & Changing Demographics
5. Organizational Capacity
Peel Regional Police have had continued success in developing effective and proactive policing initiatives, including investigative, crime prevention, traffic enforcement, victim services, and supports for youth. We also continue to cultivate a healthy and supportive work environment that promotes the personal and professional success of our employees.
