How to Apply
CIVILIAN CAREERS
Over one third of our police service is comprised of civilian staff. The contribution made by civilian members is vital to the Service's mandate of providing the citizens of Brampton and Mississauga with the highest quality of policing in the most efficient and effective manner. Civilian careers are attractive to those interested in working within a police environment, but who are not necessarily interested in becoming a police officer.
The police service offers a professional environment where career development and advancement opportunities are available. An internal job posting system provides civilian members with an opportunity to apply for a promotion or a career change.
RECRUITING THE BEST
The Peel Regional Police needs talented individuals who are eager to be part of our organization. Every job has been evaluated to determine the skills and competencies which are required to perform the job. An individual must demonstrate those skills before being hired.
Consistent with the requirements of the Ontario Human Rights Code and subject to the point of undue hardship, accommodation will be provided to qualified applicants with a disability to enable their participation in the recruitment process.
Requests for accommodation in the recruitment process should be made to the Inspector of Corporate Recruitment & Development.
