Crimes of the Week - Mississauga

Gun Toting Suspects Rob Taxi Driver
  

On December 5th, 2009 at approximately 10:15 p.m., the victim was operating an All Star taxi, and picked up two suspects at the bus loop at the Westwood Mall, located at 7205 Goreway Drive, in the City of Mississauga.

The victim was directed to an unspecified location near Catalpa Road, Mississauga. Once the taxi reached Clara Drive and Netherwood Road, Mississauga, the victim was directed to pull over to the curb. Suspect #1, who was seated behind the victim, reached around and choked the victim with one arm, while he held a handgun to the victim`s neck. Suspect #2 held the victim`s hands on the steering wheel, while both made demands for the victim`s cellular phone, wallet, and cash.

 

The victim turned over his iphone, wallet, and approximately $20 in coins, and the suspects fled on foot eastbound.

 

Suspect #1:   male, black, dark skin, 5`6, approximately 18 years old, wearing a white hoodie, and was armed with a handgun.

 

Suspect #2:  male, black, dark skin, 5`9 to 5`10, skinny build, approximately 18 years old, with a scruffy beard, wearing a black hat and black sweat shirt.
