Crime of the Week - Brampton

Vandalism to CN Rail Tracks
  

Peel Crime Stoppers is seeking your assistance in helping CN Police solve an incident of vandalism to their tracks in the Brampton area.   On August 7th, 2009  at approximately 7:00 a.m., unknown persons(s) entered onto the CN mainline tracks near Mill Street  and cut crucial fiber optic wires.    This vandalism caused outages to CN signals and service interruptions to other fiber optic customers.   According to CN police, the person(s) responsible would have had to use a larger variety of garden shears or cutting utensil to cut through the wires.   

 

CN Police advise that they have had an increase in these types of incidents across the province and are requesting anyone with information regarding these offences to contact Crime Stoppers.
