SMASH AND GRAB SUSPECT CAUGHT ON TAPE
Investigators from 12 Division are hoping the public can assist in identifying a break–in suspect. Your anonymous call to Crime Stoppers could land you a cash reward if police make an arrest in this case.
On Sunday, August 17, 2008, at 11:40 in the evening, the suspect parked his vehicle in front of the Baskin Robbins store in the Heartland plaza, located at Mavis Road and Britannia Road in Mississauga. He retrieved a hammer from his vehicle and smashed the front door of the store. Once inside, the suspect attempted to remove the cash register. When unsuccessful, he smashed the register on the floor and took a small quantity of money. The suspect also went behind the counter and stole a small quantity of loose change.
