ROBBERY SUSPECTS SOUGHT

 


Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance identifying suspects in a violent robbery. Your anonymous call to Crime Stoppers can help police solve this case.

 

On Sunday, August 10, 2008 at about 8:40 p.m., four masked suspects entered the 7 Star Convenience Store located on Conservation Drive in Brampton.  One suspect was in possession of a handgun. The suspects ordered the victim to stand still as they emptied the cash register, and removed a quantity of cigarettes.

 

The suspects then fled the store and entered two vehicles, which have been identified as a 2-door silver Volkswagen, and 4-door black Honda Civic. The suspect vehicles were last seen fleeing southbound on Highway 410.

 

Investigators have identified one of the four suspects as Ryan RANKINE, 18 years of age from Toronto.  An Arrest Warrant has been issued for a number of robbery related offences. For a photograph of the suspect, see below.

 

The other three suspects are described as male, black, in their early 20’s, and wearing black clothes. A surveillance video of the suspects can be seen on [You Tube] or by going to:
