VIOLENT THIEVES CAUGHT ON TAPE
Two thieves who robbed the clerk of a Mississauga store had their pictures captured on a surveillance camera, and the investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau are asking the public to call Crime Stoppers to identify the men.
On Thursday July 17, 2008 at 6:00 in the evening, 2 men entered the SN TRADERS store on Eglinton Avenue, just west of Dixie Road. One of the men produced a black handgun and ordered the clerk to hand over money and cell phones. The clerk was also taken to a back room and tied up.
The two suspects filled plastics bags with a quantity of LG Tilt phones and Blackberry phones. They fled the store and got into what is believed to be a silver 4–door vehicle. Photographs of the two suspects are below. It is believed that both men had accents to indicate that they may be of Middle East decent.
