YOUNG MAN SHOT DEAD AT A BRAMPTON HOUSE PARTY

 


An early Canada Day celebration turned tragic for a 31 year–old Brampton man, and the investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau are urging anyone who may have witnessed the murder to make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers.

 

On Monday June 30, 2008, a large party took place at a residence on Woodsend Run in Brampton. Just after 11:00 in the evening, the victim was fatally shot near the front door of the house, while hundreds of other party–goers were close by, including many small children. A 37 year–old Toronto man was also shot, and he was transported to hospital with non–life threatening injuries.

 

Investigators are encouraging those who were in attendance at the party, believed to be in the range of 300 people, to call Crime Stoppers with any information they may have, that can shed some light on the circumstances of this shooting.
