Crime of the Week - Mississauga

Release #: 2008 - 14a

BREAK IN AT SPORTING GOODS DISTRIBUTOR

A large distributor of sporting goods equipment had their Mississauga premise broken into, and the 12 Division Break and Enter Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in leading them to the identity of the suspects.

On Saturday May 24, 2008 at around 9:00 in the evening, suspects attended Mizuno Canada Limited on Timberlea Drive. By very sophisticated means, the suspects were able to gain access into the building.  A large truck was backed up to a loading dock and the suspects removed about 10 skids full of sporting equipment and other product.

The public are reminded that the purchase of any of these Mizuno sporting goods products outside of the regular retail market could result in criminal prosecution.

Surveillance photographs of the suspects are below.
