Crime of the Week - Brampton

Release #: 2008 - 11b

VIOLENT MAN WANTED BY POLICE

Peel Police Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a Brampton man allegedly responsible for a series of assaults on a 43 year old Toronto woman and your anonymous call to Crime Stoppers can help police track down this violent man.

Peter QUIN, a 50 year-old Brampton resident, is currently wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for numerous criminal offences including Kidnapping, Forcible Confinement, Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Weapons Dangerous, Assault with a Weapon, Theft (two counts), Break and Enter and Breach of Recognizance.

It is alleged that QUIN became involved in an altercation with the victim on March 10, 2008, at an address in Toronto.  The victim was held against her will and brought to a Brampton residence where she was assaulted.

QUIN is described as a white male, 6’0” tall and 210 lbs. He has brown hair that appears to be receding and a small goatee style beard.  It’s believed he is associated to a green 2000 Dodge Dakota Pick-up truck with an Ontario license plate of 927 6TD.

A photograph may be viewed below.  It is possible that Quin no longer has the goatee. Investigators believe that the suspect is dangerous.
