DRUGS TAKEN IN PHARMACY ROBBERY
A thief in desperate need of illicit pain medications robbed a Mississauga pharmacy at knife–point, and a call to Crime Stoppers can help the investigators arrest the person responsible.
On Wednesday February 13th, 2008, at 9:25 in the morning, the male suspect went to the prescription counter at the Guardian Pharmacy on Hurontario Street, just south of The Queensway. Brandishing a large butcher style knife, he demanded that the employee hand over a quantity of Oxycotin pills. The suspect followed the employee to the rear of the counter, where a number of bottles of the medication were placed in the suspect’s knapsack. He left the store on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect has been described as male, white, 27 – 30 years of age, 6’ 3” tall, wearing a dark coloured fleece top and black pants, and was wearing a balaclava.
