Brampton Crime of the Week

BRAMPTON RESIDENTS ROBBED

 

The daytime robbery of a Brampton home has Peel Crime Stoppers and Central Robbery Bureau investigators asking the public to provide information on the suspects.

 

On Thursday March 29, 2007 at around 12:30 in the afternoon, 2 men rang the front door bell of a home on Loons Call Crescent. The 67 year-old male resident of the home opened the door, and was immediately pushed to the ground by these suspects. The victim had his hands taped and the suspects made a violent demand for a quantity of money.

 

The victim’s sister and daughter – in law returned to the residence and were forced into an upstairs washroom where a further demand for money was made. After being threatened with scissors, the victims turned over a quantity of jewellery to the suspects. The suspects fled the home and none of the victims were physically injured.

 

Suspect # 1 is described as male white, 28 years of age, 6’ 1”, clean shaven with a muscular build and a black earring in his left ear. He was wearing dark pants, a black sweatshirt and a blue baseball cap.

 

Suspect #2 is described as a male who spoke with an Indian accent, 35 years of age, 5’ 9” with a heavy build. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt, white running shoes and a white scarf that covered his face.
