Brampton Crime of the Week

GAS STATION ROBBERY

 

A Brampton Gas Station was robbed by two men, and Peel Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in providing investigators with information that will help catch these suspects.

 

On Sunday March 25, 2007, at around 9:45 in the evening, the two men, both with their faces covered, entered the Sunoco Gas Station on Mississauga Road near Steeles Avenue. Armed with a knife and a tire iron, the suspects went behind the counter and demanded that the employee open the cash register. A small amount of money was emptied into a garbage bag, along with a quantity of cigarettes. Both suspects left the gas station, and were last seen running southbound along Mississauga Road, where it is believed that they got into an awaiting vehicle.

 

Suspect #1 is described as male black, 16 – 17 years of age, 5’ 2”, 140 pounds, with a Jamaican accent and wearing a red t-shirt and baggy pants.

 

Suspect #2 is described as male black, 16 – 17 years of age, 5’ 4” to 5’ 5”, wearing a white t-shirt and baggy pants.
