Brampton Crime of the Week

Peel Crime Stoppers is appealing to the public to provide information to the investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau and the Special Victims Unit after a Home Invasion and Sexual Assault at a home in Brampton.
At around 1:00 on the morning of Tuesday March 6, 2007, the 20 year-old female victim was leaving her home on Peachwood Place in Brampton. She was immediately accosted by three men who dragged her back into the home. Her screams awoke her 44 year-old step-father, who came to his step-daughters assistance. In doing so, one of the suspects struck him several times in the face with a handgun.
Both victims were held against their will for an extended period of time, while the suspects ransacked the home. The female victim was taken to another room of the home and sexually assaulted by two of the suspects. A quantity of cash and computer equipment was stolen during the incident.
The suspects have been described as:
1. Male, black, 6’ 2”, medium build, dark skinned, glasses, wearing a dark fur-lined parka, dark pants, winter boots, and was in possession of a black handgun.
2. Male, black, 5’ 7”, wearing a dark green parka with a hood, blue jeans and beige boots.
