Mississauga Crime of the Week

Peel Crime Stoppers is asking the public to assist in solving a Gas Station robbery in Mississauga, where a knife – wielding bandit took off with a quantity of cash.

 

On Sunday the 4th of January 2007 at 5:20 a.m., the victim was working alone at the Esso Gas Station and Convenience Store located on Millcreek Drive in Mississauga. The victim was counting his cash drawer to prepare for end of his shift when a lone male suspect knocked at the locked front door of the store. The suspect was allowed access to the store by the victim. Once inside the store, the victim observed the male to be wearing a green camouflage balaclava covering his entire face. The suspect then pulled out a 6" - 8" knife and demanded cash the victim put up his hands up and the suspect rounded the counter and removed the money from the already opened cash drawer. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.                                                             

                                                                              .                                                                                                The knife is described as metal with a blade 6"-8".                            

                                                                                

The victim was not injured.                                                    

                                                                                                                                                                

The suspect is described as: male, white, 20 – 25 years old, thin, 6', wearing a green camouflage winter coat, dark pants, green balaclava and spoke with a British accent.
