BREAK–IN AT POPULAR NIGHTCLUB
Thieves broke into a popular local Nightclub, stealing a large quantity of cash and equipment, and investigators from the 12 Division Break and Enter Unit are asking the public to call Crime Stoppers to help lead them to the culprits.
The staff of SUGAR DADDY’S Nightclub on Dixie Road locked the premise at around 7:00 on the morning of Sunday November 11th, 2007. A staff member returned to the Club a few days later, Tuesday November 13th at 1:30 in the afternoon to discover that there was a break–in. The culprits completed a sophisticated series of events to gain entry into certain areas of the Club. A significant amount of cash and electronic equipment was stolen during the Break–in.
Investigators have no description of the culprits at this time. It is believed that entry was gained via a rear door, and the culprits probably exited the Club through that same rear door. Investigators believe that the culprits would have had intimate knowledge of the contents of the Nightclub.
