MALTON VARIETY STORE ROBBED
A female store clerk was robbed at knife-point, and an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers can help bring the person responsible for this crime to justice.
On Wednesday November 21, 2007 at 5:40 pm, the lone suspect entered the Malton Variety Store on Airport Road. He approached the front counter, brandished a knife from his backpack, and demanded money. The suspect walked around the counter with the knife, and the clerk turned over a small quantity of cash and cigarettes. The suspect put the items in his backpack and left the store.
The suspect has been described as male, black, 19 – 20 years of age, 5’ 5” tall with a medium build, wearing a black jacket, black hat, and had his face covered with a black cloth.
