RESTAURANT ROBBED AT GUNPOINT
An employee of a Mississauga restaurant was robbed while locking up for the evening, and investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau are asking the public to call Crime Stoppers if you can identify the culprit.
On Thursday October 25, 2007 at 10:00 pm, the victim was in the process of locking the front doors of the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Dundas Street East. The culprit, who was waiting outside the doors at the time, entered and produced a handgun and a knife while making a demand for money.
The victim turned over a small amount of cash to the culprit, who then left the restaurant in a westerly direction through the plaza parking lot. The victim suffered no physical injuries.
The culprit has been described as:
Male, light-brown skinned, possibly Guyanese or Trinidadian, 18 years of age, 5’ 6” tall weighing 140 pounds, with a moustache. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie, and black shiny pants with a vertical white stripe.
