Brampton Crime of the Week

Peel Regional Police and Peel Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in tracking the whereabouts of two suspects wanted in a taxi cab robbery that occurred on Tuesday, January 16, 2007.
A 31 year-old, A-1 cab driver from Caledon, picked up two suspects at approximately 8:00 p.m. at a plaza at 295 Queen Street East in Brampton. The suspects had the driver take them to various locations across the city, before arriving at an address on Folkstone Crescent. Upon arrival, the suspects grabbed the victim and made a demand for money. A brief struggle ensued, and one of the suspects struck the victim in the eye with a metal object. The suspects removed an undisclosed amount of money from the victim and fled on foot towards an apartment building located at 800 Clark Boulevard.
Suspect #1 has been identified as Neil Constantine, and a Warrant for his arrest has been issued. He is described as male, black, 30 years of age, 6” tall, 180 lbs, thin build, in his early 20’s. He had a beard and moustache and was wearing a dark toque with a “B” on the front, and a dark brown leather jacket.
Suspect #2 is described as male, black, 6” tall, 180 lbs, thin build, in his early 20’s. He had dark stubble of hair on his face, wearing a grey puffy winter jacket with a hood.
