TWO MEN WANTED IN DRIVE-BY SHOOTING

 

 

An unsuspecting citizen was shot while standing on a Brampton street, and Peel Crime Stoppers needs your help in tracking down the gunman and taking his weapon off the streets.

 

At around 12:45 on the afternoon of Sunday September 13, 2007, the victim was visiting a friend on Attwar Drive. He and his friend were standing in front of a residence with their backs turned to the roadway. A vehicle drove by and got the attention of the two men. As the two men turned around, the passenger of this vehicle pointed a gun at them and fired a single shot, striking one of the men in the stomach. The vehicle turned onto Ebenezer Drive, and then fled the area.

 

Suspect #1, the passenger, is described as male, Sri Lankan, dark skinned, above average build with a full face. He was wearing a baseball cap and had a bandana covering the lower portion of his face.

 

Suspect #2, the driver, is described as male, Sri Lankan, lighter skinned, a thin build with brown shoulder length hair.

 

The vehicle is described as an early 1990’s dark coloured Acura or Honda.

 

The victim was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the stomach, but is expected to survive.
