WOMAN ROBS A BRAMPTON BANK
An early morning Bank Robbery in Brampton was caught on tape, and investigators and Crime Stoppers are seeking the identity of the female suspect.
On Wednesday August 8, 2007 shortly before 10:00 in the morning, the female suspect approached the teller at the Bank of Nova Scotia on Quarry Edge Drive in Brampton. A note was passed to the teller and the suspect showed what was believed to be the butt of a handgun from her waistband. A quantity of cash was turned over to the suspect by the teller, and she left the bank in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as female, black, approximately 40 years of age, stocky build, with dark rimmed glasses. She was wearing black pants, a dark t-shirt with a light shirt on top, and a dark baseball hat. Her image was caught on a security camera, and can be viewed below.
