Crime of the Week - Brampton

BRAMPTON RESIDENTS ROBBED AT GUNPOINT

 

 

Four gunmen entered a Brampton condominium and robbed the tenants, and Peel Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying the bandits.

 

On Saturday August 11, 2007 at 10:30 in the evening, the 50 year-old female victim and her 17 year-old son were in their apartment in the 66 Malta Ave. condominium complex. The boy heard a knock at the door, and was immediately confronted by 2 male suspects with masks covering their faces, pointing handguns. Two other suspects confronted his mother in the same manner. A demand was made for money, and one suspect struck the 17 year-old over the head with the butt of the gun. Three of the suspects were in possession of handguns.

 

A small amount of money and property was taken by the suspects. Their images were captured on security cameras, and can be seen below.

  

The suspects are described as:

 

Suspect 1:

male, black, 18 – 20 years of age, 5’10”, wearing an orange and white shirt and a black mask


Suspect 2:

male, black, 18 – 20 years of age, 5’10”, wearing a long dark blue t-shirt and a dark blue baseball hat


Suspect 3:

male, black, 18 – 20 years of age, 5’10”, wearing all black clothing and a black baseball hat

Suspect 4:

male, black, 18 – 20 years of age, wearing a light blue long t-shirt with the number “29” and the name “PAIGE” on the back.
