Crime of the Week - Brampton

TWO YOUNGSTERS ROBBED AT HOME

 

 

A Brampton teenager and his younger brother were robbed at knife-point while in their own home, and Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in solving this crime.

 

On Tuesday August 7, 2007, shortly before 2:00 in the afternoon, the two young victims were in the kitchen area of their residence on Whitewash Way in the City of Brampton, that’s in the Chinguacousy Road and Williams Parkway area. The two suspects entered the home through the rear patio door and while armed with kitchen knives, ordered the victims upstairs. The older brother had his hands bound by duct tape, and he and his younger brother were told to stay in the bathroom.

 

The two suspects helped themselves to a quantity of items from the home, including a bicycle, digital camera, video camera and an X-Box Game System. The victims freed themselves from the bathroom and contacted police.

 

The suspects are described as:

 

  • Male, black, 15 -16 years of age, 6'  tall, with a medium build and short hair, and one small diamond earring in each ear. He was wearing black jeans, a black t-shirt, white shoes, and a black designer New York Yankees hat
  • Male, black, 15 -16 years of age, 6' tall, with short curly afro style hair. He was wearing all black clothing,  a light blue bandana covering his face, and carried a back pack.
