  SUSPECT WANTED FOR VIOLENT CRIMES

 

Investigators from Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in a serious sexual assault, and Peel Crime Stoppers welcomes your call to help find this man.

 

On June 28th, 2007, the victim, a 19 year old woman from Nova Scotia, was sexually assaulted while at a residence in the Mississauga area. 

 

A Canada Wide Warrant has been issued for the arrest of 22 year old Spencer Sinclair THOMPSON, of Mississauga, for the following charges:  Forcible Confinement, Gang Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault with a Weapon, Assault with a Weapon, Assault, Human Trafficking, Destroying and/or Withholding Documents, and Kidnapping. On July 10th, 2007, investigators arrested and charged Thomas Junior DOWNEY, 20 years of age of no fixed address with Forcible Confinement, Gang Sexual Assault, Assault, Human Trafficking, Destroying and/or Withholding Documents, Kidnapping.  He was held pending a bail hearing and set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on July 10th.
