Brampton Crime of the Week

Release #: 2007 - 16b

  MAN ROBBED IN RESTAURANT WASHROOM

 

A man was robbed at gunpoint while in the washroom of a Brampton bar, and Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving the crime.

 

On Tuesday May 22, 2007, at around 1:30 in the morning, the 23 year old victim attended the washroom of the establishment known as “ The Place “, located on Rambler Drive. He was approached by a group of 5-6 males, and one of these parties produced a handgun from his waistband. At gunpoint, the victim was robbed of a small quantity of cash, jewellery and a cellular phone. The suspect also struck the victim in the face with the gun during the incident.

 

Three of the suspects have been described as:

 

1. male black, 20-22 years of age, 5’7” – 5’8” tall, wearing a blue and white stripped shirt. His hair is braided, and he wore an earring in his left ear.

2. male black, 23 years of age, 6’1” – 6’2” tall, wearing a long sleeved grey shirt

3. male black wearing a black hoodie and black jeans
