Message from the Chief

The men and women of Peel Regional Police work closely with residents to ensure that we remain “A Safer Community”. This relationship demands commitment and innovation on the part of everyone involved, and is key to meeting the challenges of policing one of the fastest growing and diverse communities in Canada.

Our 2008-2010 Strategic Plan was developed with valuable input from residents and local businesses, and forms a “road map” of where the organization is headed and how we will get there. It also provides a strong foundation to continue to provide effective and efficient services that build trust within our community.

I invite you to explore our website and the important information that it provides. You will quickly see how committed we are to delivering exceptional service. From education programs for school children to personal safety programs for seniors, every citizen benefits from the dedication of the men and women of our organization.

The young and old, new and long time residents, and those looking for exciting career opportunities will find valuable information and answers to a wide range of questions.

H. M. (Mike) Metcalf,

Chief of Police
