Becoming a Vendor at Peel Regional Police
A core function within Finance is the procurement and issuance of uniforms, operational equipment and supplies to all members of Peel Regional Police.
Having an efficient procurement process is very important to Peel Regional Police. As a public sector organization, we work hand-in-hand with the Region of Peel Purchasing department to ensure that all procurement is in compliance with the Purchasing By-law. Finance is the policy centre responsible for overseeing the delivery of Regional Purchasing services to Police Service staff members.
Since Finance continuously researches new products to both enhance policing within the community and to ensure the safety of police officers, we encourage vendors to review the Region of Peel Purchasing By-law, and associated procedures, should they desire to submit their products for consideration.
