Deputy Chief Paul Tetzlaff is a 33 year veteran of the Peel Regional Police, with an extensive amount of investigative and administrative experience.
He began his policing career in 1975 as a Constable, and worked in Front Line Uniform Patrol and subsequently as an investigator in the Fraud Bureau. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1985, where he continued to work as an investigator in the Fraud Bureau and also held assignments in the Homicide Bureau and as a Supervisor in Uniform Patrol at 22 Division and 11 Division.
In 1996 he was promoted to Staff Sergeant and supervised a Uniform Platoon at the Airport Division. He achieved Senior Officer Status in 1998 when he was designated the rank of Inspector. During this aspect of his career he was deployed in the Duty Inspector’s Office, Executive Administration and Communications.
In 2001 he was promoted to Superintendent and was placed in charge of Information Services. This was followed by a transfer in 2003 to 21 Division where he held the position of Officer-in-Charge.
In August of 2005 he was promoted to the rank of Staff Superintendent - Operations Services where he worked closely with the Chief of Police, the Chief's Management Group and all the members of the Police Services Board. In January 2006 he was assigned the role of Acting Deputy Chief - Operations and has been performing those duties on a full time basis until he was appointed as Deputy Chief in June 2006.
Deputy Chief Tetzlaff, throughout his distinguished career, has completed numerous investigative and police administration related courses. He is also a graduate of the Police Leadership Program offered at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Deputy Chief Dan McDonald is a 30 year member of the Peel Regional Police, having joined the Peel Regional Police in 1979.
In the early part of his career he worked in a number of areas such as Uniform Patrol, Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Morality Bureau.
Deputy Chief McDonald was promoted to the rank of Inspector in 1998, and was assigned to the Duty Inspectors Office. Later that same year he became the Officer in Charge of Uniform Patrol at 21 Division where he served for the next 4 years.
In 2002, he was assigned to Professional Standards Bureau where he was the Officer in Charge for 4 years. In October 2005, he was promoted to the rank of Superintendent and was assigned as a Divisional Commander.
He was promoted to the rank of Staff Superintendent in January 2006, and in June of 2006 he was appointed by the Police Services Board to the position of Acting Deputy Chief in charge of Field Operations. In April 2008, he was appointed to the rank of Deputy Chief.
Deputy Chief Dan McDonald’s educational background includes graduate diplomas from both Humber and Sheridan College. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia and the Police Leadership Program at the Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto.

Deputy Chief Jennifer Evans began her career with Peel Regional Police in 1983 when she joined as a Cadet. As a police officer, she started out in Uniform Patrol. She has an extensive criminal investigative background having worked over eight years in the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau.
In 1996, she was seconded to assist Justice Archie Campbell in the Review involving serial rapist and murderer Paul Bernardo. Later that year she accepted a two year secondment to work as a Violent Crime Analyst at the Provincial ViCLAS Centre in Orillia.
In 1998, Deputy Chief Evans was transferred to the Office of the Chief Coroner and conducted several in-custody deaths investigations that were subject to mandatory inquests. In 1999, she returned to the Peel Regional Police as a Detective in the Homicide & Missing Persons Bureau for two years prior to being promoted to Staff Sergeant.
She worked as a uniform Staff Sergeant at 12 Division and later became Acting Inspector in charge of the Uniform Branch. In 2003 she was promoted to the rank of Inspector and worked as a Duty Inspector and later returned to work as the Officer In Charge of the Homicide & Missing Persons Bureau. In August 2006 she became the Officer in Charge of Information Services which included areas such as Records, Operational Planning and Research, the newly formed Records & Information Management Systems Unit and is the Chair of VCOM group. She was promoted to the rank of Superintendent in October 2007. In April 2008, she was appointed to the rank of Deputy Chief.
Deputy Chief Evans is a graduate of the Police Leadership Program offered at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
